Remember our first Random Sexyness Game?

Same rules apply, although this time (by Tammie’s request) we’re looking for random acts of sexyness involving men and women.

Happy hunting.

I’d link to my Flickr, but I doubt that counts.

Tammie,

I’m sure someone will find a random sexy bloke on a site somewhere.

And Rich’s flickr photos don’t count!

I’m sure there are plenty of sites out there that try to use sex to sell non-sexy products. However I would be willing to bet that the thinking behind putting attractive people on the web is a little deeper.
There are plenty of services and products that do not have a usable, tangible visual…financial services, hosting, consulting, etc. But especially in the service industry, a smiling face and a friendly appearance, that creates a personal and emotional connection to the visual, is important. Thus we get smiling faces on websites.
Now, who wants to put an ugly person on the home page of their site? Sorry I don’t mean to offend, but by default we are going to pick pictures of at least moderately attractive people. Plus most of the stock photography out there is of attractive models anyway.

I agree, Rachel. Many people don’t want to put an ugly person’s photo on their homepage. But don’t you think that the ‘pretty lady on hosting website homepage’ is a little cliché? It speaks to me that not much thought was placed into the visuals of the site.

On this subject, FortyMedia produced a nice set of cliché photography:
